A great way to take advantage of locks!!!!

Lets face it everyone. The Twins game tonight at -340 is all but a sure thing. But with that being said. its not wise to risk $340 for a $100 dollar payout. Even if you took them on the run line you are still risking -160 still foolish. Santana has had 3 games this season that hes won by 1 run so that rules the run line out.

Something that has been very succesfull for me over the years in games like the Twins game tonight is to parley the Twins with another heavy favorite. Take advantage of the near locks with a parley. This is what im doing to offset the heavy juice of tonights game.

2Team Parley (Twins & Cardinals) $100 for $108 Hollywood

I get to take advantage of the Twins game in this parley which pays plus money with 2 heavy favorites.

Although this game is a parley in essense its really a strait bet.

whats a"parley"? just messing with you..

i went to the extreme and took minny-2.5 (+1.20).. also did boston the same way -2.5 (+1.50). if i get one of them, thats a profit..

IMO you are leading the unexperienced in the wrong direction.

This is exactly what the book wants, a two team parlay with huge juiced plays combined. ESPECIALLY IN BASEBALL.

A wise bet would be to take that 100 and split the two dogs straight up for 50. 1-1 with your theory your down 100. 1-1 the wise way your up at least 40. I garuantee OVER TIME you will lose your ass betting two heavy favorites parlayed. BTW there couldn't be a worse feeling then losing a huge favorite while the wise guys laugh all the way to the bank.

I thought you guys over here would know this allready.:sad3:

Its a great idea, but please don't ever say the l-word, it seems like everytime that word is said you lose.

I understand your point. You cant blindly take 2 huge favorities and parley them and expect to be sucessful. But tonight is a great oportunity to take advantage of a great game without risking too much bankroll.

If a made 2 strait bets on the Giants and the Bluejays tonight laying $50. My chances of winning money are less than taking the parley above in my opinion.
