This was my first year posting on this forum, and let me tell you it was an experience. I just cant handle the stress of people playing my games and losing. I cant control peoples money management. I had a poster on my thread risk his entire bankroll on my games and I ended up having the worst night of my entire season. losing $800 bucks is nothing to me because I know over time I will get it back. Im up 33 units on the season, a little short of a 100 unit pace. Im not having the superstar type season Bucsfan is having but im surviving.

I dont want the responsibility of losing other peoples money.
Good luck everyone. I will still be posting in my contest.

158-143 YTD +$3190.00 +31.9 UNITS

There were no haters. 99.9% of all the posters are class acts. I just rather be responsible for my money and my money alone. There are plenty of good cappers on this site. Your one of them.

come on chop, i enjoy reading your daily posts and I do value your plays. Dug myself out of a pretty good hole following your plays, granted you can't win everyday but enough to keep you in the positive. All in all, wish you the best but i hope you continue to post daily. :toast::suomi:

I can understand what you have said.

Let me just say, I have always read your threads, you really help me get a different perspective. I think you have to dismiss those posters who don't employ a money management system, they are just going to learn the hard way.

In any case, I wish you the best of luck in the future, you are a good guy, deep down.

Whatever you decide, I wish you well. I've enjoyed reading your selectons. However, you should not feel responsible for anyone else's losses. Anyone betting based on your posts is taking full responsibility for their actions. You didn't imply that they would be a "guaranteed" winner if they followed you.

Good luck!

I hope ur not referring to me, because I might have sounded a little more dramatic than i actually was, please don't do this on behalf of me. Technically I didnt even lose that much money, becuz I made money off your Cardinals play 2 days ago, and your Toronto play yesterday. Please keep posting. Its our responsability to choose if or not we want to play your picks, so you should feel no guilt whatsoever. Please choppy, pretty please, If you stop posting then I stop living, cuz I live through your picks, ok I'm rambling on and not makin any sense, I don't even know what I'm sayin anymore, becuz I'm in love with your picks, and love makes you say crazy things, bottomline is you gotta post bro. Even if i dont play your picks, I like to tune in and see how your doin from day to day, and I'm really curious to see where you end up at season's end. POST, POST. POST!!!!!

Thanks for the nice words everyone. I have been fighting this almost all season. This is not something I just came up with tonight. Tonight was just the last straw. I did not want this to be a big publicity stunt, thats why I posted this in the middle of the night. If I helped anyone out this year im glad to hear that. I just wish everyone luck and a very succesfull baseball season.:toast:

Lets let this thread die. I dont want anyone to get the wrong idea.

THANKS Guys.

Toddy, you are not the first person to tell me that this season. Im sure there are plenty more people who have done the same thing not telling me about it.

But if it makes you feel better. This day was comming for a good long time. Its not your fault Toddy. Now go study Bucs thread and make some money.

never the less chop people like you and will respond no matter what the time. You have to take some time before you make a decision like this, because you contribute to the forum!! You have to try and not think of other peoples problems when you are posting your plays, the truth is mature bettors take your wagers with a grain of salt and help us identify which plays are the strongest to play!

Yup, I'll be the first to admit I'm not a mature bettor at all. I take his wagers with a shot of whiskey.

Chop, This A Forum, Not The Stock Market. Just Do What You Do. Give Us Your Opinion On Baseball. You Have A Gift, Or Good System, Or Good Insight, Whatever You Want To Call It. Everyone Is Responsible For Their Own Actions. Think About It, Revert Back To The Basics And Just Give Your Opinions. Thats My Thoughts On The Matter Anyway. I Have Often Looked At Your Picks And Make Up My Mind If I Choose To Go With Them Or Not. I Think Its Foolish If Someone Just Does Everything You Do Verbatium. This Forum, For Me Anyway, Just Reassures If Others Agree With What I Think Is A Good Pick. Hope You Stick Aroud.---maxxx

chop -

You have had this hump that you just cant quite get over this season. I might be the only one that agrees that you need a few days off. I dont think you should stop posting, you're too valuable to just stop posting. To give a baseball analogy, slumps are broken when a player simplifies things. Maybe you shouldnt go away, but instead get back to the basics. Players slump because they try to do too much. They break it when they get back to the "see the ball hit the ball" mentality. Stop focusing harder and stop working harder. Don't look at specifics like bullpens, or late inning collapses or road records. Instead look at basic things like are you betting too many favorites or underdogs? Do you lose all the time with a certain team? Take a step back and look at an overview.

Start posting some leans with 1 sentence write ups, and we can have a few people chime in to give you some different perspectives so you can tweak your system a bit. It's not like you are doing bad, you're up on the year. I think whatever you are doing in general is right on the brink of working. I think if you tweaked your system the slightest bit, you'll go on a tear. Maybe try playing more solid teams only like the Cardinals. Maybe try playing more dogs. Whatever you decide, I do agree you should take a step back and reevaluate your plays.

Anyway, no reason for you to be done. You keep saying you are done posting and you put too much pressure on yourself. Try setting a goal of winning 1 unit everyday. I'm just throwing advice out there, you don't need people to tell you what to do. You're seriously on the brink of breaking loose. Hope you figure it out, and come back stronger than ever.

Actaully I have something to admit, I'm very sorry I have done this, but the truth is its not chops fault for him not have a great season. It is actually entirely my fault, Im like Eddie Mush from Bronx Tale, everyhting I touch turns to mush. So whenever I follow his plays he has a mushy day. I'm sorry for this inconvenience as i will never follow one of your plays again, post or no post.
