Baltimore -1 1/2 (-102) (2 unit)....looks like the Stros are back to their old inept selves, so this is a good spot to play "fade Wandy" again. Didn't work out too well last time, as he got out of some jams vs. Toronto, despite walking 6 batters and giving up 4 hits in 6 IP. Balt's veteran hitters will feast on this kid tonight, imo. Lopez has had a couple rough starts this yr, which makes his ERA higher than it should be, but he should be able to handle this Houston lineup.
Atlanta +137 (1 unit)...Gonna fade ice cold Chan Ho Park in this one (his 6-1 record is VERY misleading), as well as looking for a strong effort from Davies. Davies ran into some problems in the middle innings vs. Oakland last time out, think he lost his concentration for a spell there, think he'll get a little run support tonight. Park has a nice history vs. the current Braves lineup, but he's been walking a lot of guys, and getting too much of the strikezone with most of his pitches the last couple times out, and 2 teams that aren't known for big offense (Fla and KC) took full advantage. Think Atl will also.
LA Dodgers/Kansas city OVER 9 1/2 (1 unit)...Both of tonights starters (Penny and Lima) have been hit pretty hard lately. The KC bats have finally awaken since making their managerial switch a month ago, don't know what it is about Buddy Bell, but this team is responding. On the other side, LA should know Lima pretty well, since he was a key member of their playoff team last season. But, so far this year, Lima has been very poor..and winless (0-5 ERA over 8.0
