West and northwest from 10 to 17 MPH, gusts to 25 MPH, balls sailing out to right...

All Fly balls could be an adventure today.

flying out?

A SW wind is straight out, and a NE wind is straight in.

A NW or a SE wind is a sideways wind at Wrigley.

So are you stopping just short of saying we should take the OVER? Wind blowing from left to right at Wrigley is no cinch for the over, not like when it is blowing out to left/left center. If you like the over, Pinny has it at 9.5 +131, or you can buy it down to O9, +103.

Yep, i like the over, if for nothing else than the fact that the recent games there have all been soaring over the total, with the exception of sunday night's game when Wakefield totally shut the Cubs down.

We will see some homers today for sure.

Hey Bucs, and anyone else willing to listen..

Wind is already blowing out big time at Wrigley, and will be gusting over 25 MPH tonight...Expect the OVER 9 1/2 to be an EASY winner!!

This time of the year Wrigley plays like a softball stadium.

Final in that game was 4-1, Toronto over Cubs. I'm not bringing this up to give you shit, I just remembered it because I had the over in that game too and saw your comment, which reinforced my confidence in the play. Sometimes it pays to be a little careful. I'm thinking I'll probably just take the Cubbies with Maddux throwing the ball real well lately. Most of the runs the Cubs scored last night came after the outcome was already decided, and the left to right wind tends to knock down some fly balls that are hit in the air to left field. GL if you take the over, I'll be pulling for a 10-0 Cubs victory :toast:

Sideways is from left field to right field or third base to first base - but if you think it is out to RF, it's fine with me.

Good luck.

WOW

8-0 in the 4th...

OVER 9 1/2 +135!!!! Now that was a nice + money situation to have found.

First pitch from that miserable Cub bullpen is deposited in the seats.

I didn;t expect all the runs to come from one side, but either way, it works!

Have to imagine lots of people got killed on the under, it just kept going up and up, then they dropped it to 9 and still under -120...thats a BIG line move for a total.

I watched the under move from -120,-130,-135 in a around one minute before the game.

Way to go Brock :103631605

By the time I went to put my play in on the Cubs about three minutes before game time, the line was over 9 +135. I figured with that kind of public money coming in on the under, I might as well take a shot at the over - good thing, it is cancelling out this ass-whooping I am taking on the Cubs right now . I'll actually come out ahead 0.35 units, thanks man :toast:

Looking for a VERY similar outcome tonight on the south side, as the park there is the only park pointing the direction it does in baseball, a previaling summer wind is actaully blowing in, but tonight its windy from the NNW at 15 MPH, which is Out to center...

OVER 8 1/2 -140 is the line now, doubt it goes to Over 9 but either way, this one should also sail over...

Homers will be flying left and right.
