I like the Brewers in this one. Call me crazy, but Victor Santos vs. Hideo Nomo seems like a huge mismatch. Plus with all the rumors about Piniella being gone as manager any day now, a lot of the D-Rays players are probably just counting the days until he's out of there. Nomo has given up at least 5 runs in his last three starts. Can someone give me a reason not to take Milwaukee? The only thing I can see is that Nomo has been notably better at home, but vs. Santos who has been dealing since late April I don't think it makes a difference.

Nomo owns a 5-2 record with a 2.14 ERA in eight career
starts against Milwaukee . I think nomo is due for a decent outing tampa plays much better at home, just my reasons...

I am shocked anytime Nomo pitches well...he's a power pitcher who only throws like 83 mph. He does manage a good game once in a while, but he can't have much more left in that right arm.

Every time I raise a question like this on here, the game I ask people to talk me out of loses. That should tell me something. I never ask questions about the games that I feel good about.

I bet against 2 pitchers in particular tonight Nomo who has had only 1 good outing in his last 5 which was against a week hitting Oakland team and Lima who can't pitch past the 5th inning and gives up about 5 every game.
