When a game goes extra innings, what % of the time

does the home team win? I imagine it is pretty high, beings they get the final bat, but does anyone have the %'s on this?

And no, not just asking because I have Cleveland tonight!:drink:

not sure about that %, but its SIGNIFICANTLY in the home teams favor..

Hafner moves him over on a DEEP flyout to right, thought it was gone at first..

Runner on 3rd, 1 out, The %'s are heavily stacked towards a Cleveland win now..Fly ball is all they need.

To high, to many other ways to score, you have to include a visiting team winning in extra innings even if by home run it is not a walk off homer. I don't know the percentage but would also guess blindly that is quite a bit less than 50% of the time that an extra inning game is won by walk off homer.
