Is Bodog poker for real? Hands seem very inflated.

I don't know, guys. I've been playing there a lot lately, and it's got me laughing out loud. There is no such thing as a King high win there. With pocket pairs, I bet I flop a set about 40% of the time. And half the time, someone else has a set also. It just seems out of control. I have played a lot of live poker, and a lot of poker at Pokerstars. This just seems ridiculous. Anyone else have the same or different experience at Bodog?

I haven't noticed anything really unusual about it, but have liked what I've seen. I'm on about week 4 of a Bodog poker bender.

"where is "propokerplayer"? "

Im on a hiatus from the gambling game . i havent missed a day in front of this computer in well over 6 years and im suffering from severe burnout....

However i believe i was in that tourny illini is referring to..7500 guar night before last ????? I think we shared a table at 1 point....Now im not going to use the "R" word or the "F" word but that was the most ridiculous run of cards ive ever seen in my life...first half hour we had quad 8's twice and quad k's once....all 3 times hitting on the river ....1 of the 8's was mine so i cant complain to much..lol
2nd half hr was heart flops.....3 heart flops at least 10 hands out of 20...
then came the 7's....board had a pr of 7's it seemed like every other hand for at least a half hour
THENNNNNN....it was 4 card straights....im not bullshitting when i tell you at least 8 out of 12 straight hands had a 4 card straight on it by the turn...
the weirdest thing was once it got down to the money..56 maybe? i dont remember.....the game suddenly got as fair as any site ive ever played on...i hit the money with about 300 chips left and took advantage of players like myself going all-in with their last gasp of chips to rebuild my stack then caught a really lucky break when a chip leader raised me all-in and i called him, we both had aces and i caught a J on the river to dbl up..ended up 27th when i made a dumbass mistake..not unlike the ones that currently have me in the mental slump im suffering from.

As far as advice on how to play there right now? all i can tell ya is fold everything pre flop that doesnt have monster potential and if after the flop you havent made that monster get the hell out against anything but a minimum bet...don't raise at all till the river and then only if your sure you've got the nuts...you wont hit big pots but you will stay in the game and hopefully it will turn fair after it hits the money positions...even calling from the small blind is not worth the chips most of the time...

one tip ive tried to use in tournys at any site is never get excited about 1 hand..let the table play, let 1 guy get all the chips then try to win them from him...to hell with multi way pots, their not worth the damage to your chip stack in most cases. dont worry about being short stacked, just wait till you got a big hand then try to dbl up....it only takes winning sometimes 4-6 hands to be in the money so FOLD FOLD FOLD and then FOLD some more!!!

now that takes care of my daily quota of 15 mins a day on the computer so off i go into the 105 deg heat....buttt the humidity today is only 88 instead of yesterdays 94 so it wont be so bad....lol if when i get in i feel ok i MIGHT try the 10,000 guar at bodog tonight....im laughing at the flops instead of getting mad so it has a soothing effect actually....
