If you are sitting at a blackjack table, let's assume playing $100 per hand. You stay for 2 hours and make $2,000. how much should you leave as a tip before you leave the table? Should you be tipping during the course of the game? How much?

In craps, if you have a big hand and make $2000 on a roll, then want to leave, what should you leave on the table?

generally, i tip while i play, give the dealers some bets, and at the end if i win, i will throw them another bone. :howdy:

however, i always feel like i am stupid to be overtipping because it is MY MONEY. what do you think?

the original MIT team said they never tip. Is'nt that something? All the millions they won, and no tips.

Tip the cabdrivers no LESS than 40% of your fare.

Tip the cocktail waitresses no LESS than $2 per beer or $3 for two.

Buy the sportsbook staff no LESS than a $5 parlay once in awhile.

My wife was a cocktail waitress for 25 years or so here in Vegas and $ 1 works just fine for her.

I never tip. I gave a cabdriver 25 cents once and he threw it at me after I got out of the cab, so now I just don't bother:smoker2:

When you are on your run put down about 3 bets of 25 dollars and give them a shot of picking up a buck and a half.

thats what I do also, MJ23. That way the dealer will root for you to win the hand. A much more fun and better way of toking IMO

You are certainly entitled to do as you please, but more than likely this sort of attitude will come back and bite you in the *ss more times than not.

ID,

when I play craps if I'am winning I will do a few things..either make a hard way play for the crew, or when I cash out I will throw them 50.00 to 75.00..it all depends on how much I have won

r u serious?

that cannot be accurate....

of course I understand that a short 6$ cab ride, I would give the guy 10$ which equals 40%.

But on a much longer ride if the fare is say 50$, I woudnt normally tip 40%. I might give an extra 5 bucks if they are lucky.....

am I 'uncooth'?

If they don't stink too bad and can speak "some" english I throw in an extra buck.

On a $50 ride......a $10 tip would be about as low as one should go on a ride like this which is 20%, so your point is well taken.

Of course, much is dependant upon how well the driver was.
