Time for the Yankees. Thoughts welcome.

Guys, I want your thoughts:

past few years I noticed a trend with Yankees and a few other teams. These teams would always seem to take 4-8 weeks to get engine revved up. But then they would go on a tear from June thru end of the season. I placed a very large wager on Yankees last night and I am planning on riding them for next few weeks as I am sure they are finally on track. Does anyone else look at the macro trends for certain teams? Obviously I will stay away from Kevin Brown games etc, but on the whole, the Yankees will prob win 2 for every one game they lose from here on out. Thoughts?

Kevin Brown has been pitching well lately.
But you wont have to worry about him cause he'll probably go on 15 Day DL.

Randy Johnson is back on track. Ride him every time he pitches....

You know what I meant. Picking certain small spots. But yes, I will be taking RL with the Unit every time....

I expect the Yankees to go on a tear, but bucsfan has a unit on the Cubs tonight. :digit:

KEEP IN MIND... THAT EVEN THOUGH YANKEES HAVE BEEN WINNING THEY WERE PLAYING THE PIRATES!!! :icon_conf

There will never be any great run for the Yankees this year. Sure they may have a 5 game winning streak hear and there just like every other team. But all you people who still think the Yankees are going to win 95 games this year I just want to say thank you. I appreciate the inflated lines that you keep giving me to make easy money. The Yankees have been overvalued since day one. Im glad they are on a little mini run right now. I hope it convences everybody that they are back. They are an 80 win team with 100 win juice. I will gladly fade.

They are very streaky this year. And when they get hot like this I ride them until they lose, and then I ride their losing streaks. They're pretty predictable and are definitely an 80 win team with 100 win juice.

Ok. I have now made almost 1200 on the yanks over past 3 days. Why should this stop now? The moose on the mound with the Yanks offense in full stride. I hate them, but they could be rolling for a while. Thoughts anyone?

The Yanks are probably a better playoff team this year because of the addition of Randy Johnson. Last year they had no left handed starter and this hurt them in the Playoffs for sure. They also picked up Carl Pavano who was 18-8 last year with a 3.0 era. He will most likely get going and then I expect them to start being more consistent. Despite all the talk about how terrible their pitching is this year, this years club has a era of 4.47 and last year team had a era of 4.69 and they won 101 games.They will not win 100 games this year but they will not be an 80 win team either. I see the Yanks winning over 90 but not much more. Yankees main problem this year has been their defense and offense but their offense has been picking up a lot lately. I look to see them put on a run and remember they are now only 2 games behind the Red Sox.
