Horne looks solid. 93-94 MPH, throwing his offspeed stuff for strikes.

Strikes out the side in inning 1.

0-0

Horne gives up a leadoff single, retires the next 2 batters, 1 via strikeout, gives up a 2 out walk for 1st and 2nd 2 outs, and strikes out Borbon to ned the inning.

5 K's for Horne in 2 IP.

Bottom of 2nd 1-0 Gators

Wish Horne had stayed at Ole Miss. They'd be there instead of Florida.

end of 2, still 1-0 Florida. Hochevar struck out the last batter, huge effort to get out of that and not give anything up.

Gators get a basehit from Dickey, UFs backup QB, then a double from Tordi, who is has been an automatic out, then Barton pops up to the infield and usually reliable Corsaletti strikes out to tend the threat.

Gators blow a 2nd and 3rd, 1 out and cant get anyone in.

1-0 Florida Top of 3

Corsaletti, usually reliable, looks completely outmatched by Hochevar.

The Gators have 1 serious threat, Laporta. The other guys are questionable.

I'm shocked Tordi got a hit. He's brutal at the plate. Hochevar did leave a meatball up in the zone.

Horne is throwing a lot of pitches. This is very good for Tennessee.

I'm not going to get into too many details over the internet, know what I mean?

I was a pitcher. Right now I'm launching a baseball website under devlopment that will be a resourceful tool for college players and below, high school, little league, dad's etc. I have lots of connections in baseball from Josh Beckett, to Brad Wilkerson, to Chris Mortensen, to head coaches across college baseball. I have a baseball website under development that I will charge membership for in exchange for daily articles about baseball mechanics, skills, drills, etc with quotes from any reliable big name baseball source I know for kids and their dads to sign up with. It will also cover college baseball in-depth.

Read this now, because I am deleting this before 5 mins is up.

Horne is in trouble. 2 out walk after a bases clearing double play.

2 outs, 1st and 2nd.

Still 1-0 FLA top 3

That was a big out for Horne. He is throwing a lot of pitches after a 150 pitch outing. We will see how he holds up. He's getting behind more in the count and walking people. Tennessee has to start making him pay some. Middle innings will be key.
