Does it count lurkers or just registered/logged users?

Also, I've done a test and read someone's thread for the first time. I then back out and refresh the page listing the thread. The number of views has not changed! Can anyone explain the acrane mysteries of the view count to me? Type slow as I'm not very bright. tulsa

Thread views are only updated hourly. It helps with the stability of the board I am told.

I would think it also updates whenever someone posts a reply. If it didn't you would see some threads with more replies than views. I know I have seen views go up more than once an hour. When I posted this I think the stats on this thread was 2 replies and 3 views, let's see where it is now.

General, I appreciate the info, but I have one more question for you then. Why does this thread at this moment show 3 views then and not 0 views. Maybe the update is once each minute and that would help keep the board from having constant/continuous updating.

Thanks RobFunk and Thanks General. tulsa
