Will BetUs be allowed to advertise at TheRx?

IMHO TheRx has too much class for this. Right now, books are advertising anywhere they can. In years past many of these bottom feeder books spent fortunes advertising on radio and search engines and those places no longer take sportsbook advertising.

But…the little phase we are in now will not last. Books will return to Return On Investment advertisements. What will remain are the posters who will remember that greedy operators tried to send them to notorious swindlers which certainly describes BetUs.<o

AK I agree Mike seems like a decent fellow. But does hiring a decent fellow forgive this book from the past outright theft from players??

Also, Mike may be a good guy but where I got the idea for this post was a BetUs banner at 911 on the article about the Baylor kid. There is a BetUs banner there that has a picture of San Antonio Spur Ginobli. Now a 1st grader knows that aint right. And below Ginobli's picture is a flashing 85% bonus! So I guess they got Ginobli to endorse them and are giving out 85% bonuses. Wow! "....and if you'll buy that I'll throw in the Golden Gate for free"

I've got an idea...The Rx and SBR make a deal...

The Rx agrees not to take advertising from BetUs if SBR agrees to downgrade VIP -- a book that does not deserve an A+ rating based on the deception it employs on its lines...nice, thin-looking lines but only one side gets honored. If you take the other with any regularity you get booted. Booting syndicate players or even steamers is one thing, but simple line shoppers who happen to like dogs for less than a dime each!? Give me an effing break...that's not A+ in ANYBODY's book except maybe someone who struck some sort of deal or is completely blind to what's fair and just.

I respect your opinion however, VIP is every bit an A+ book. They are not a forum book and bonus grinders/whores dont seem to like them. But in the group of recreational books(high bonus), they are the best and that includes Bet365 and BoDog. If you have graduated from recreational books we recommend Pinny, Oly and Cris. I personally assure you that neither of those three will throw you out but the high bonus books cant afford grinders and scalpers and sharps. Thats pretty much a business model fact of the industry.

On the other hand, we wouldn't recommend BetUs (remember them? before you hijacked the thread?) to anyone and I have seen them steal 100's of thousands of dollars from players.

I had lunch the other day with a high contact with Betus. He said they are having a great year and assured me no one would be stiffed.

However, I would not take them on as an advertiser if I were a site owner until they paid MFG all his winnings.

With respect, I did not hijack your thread. I think it's relevant to posters that the opinion expressed at the top of the thread is not 100% unbiased. VIP is just an example of that as this forum has done plenty of "what are the top books" threads, and "rank the following books" threads and while VIP is considered a solid out, there is no way an A+ can possibly come out of it.

Having said that, I do believe you are less biased than 98% of the people in the industry, I think you have a great site in SBR and I have no reason to doubt anything you say about BetUs.

This poster is RIGHT ON THE MONEY! If you win at this place or even bet the side they don't want you to you are gone. It's a joke that they can be rated so high they must pay great affiliate fees!!!

John Buzz, you are just full of shit when it comes to VIP. You give an A+ rating to an operation that accepts losers only. If a bettor has a clue, his bonus is stolen from him. Win a few bets in a row, your limits are cut to $50. VIP is a bloodsucker, a parasite that is bad for the off-shore sportsbook industry. And you give them an A+ rating. Makes me sick.
