This has got to be the best new payment innovation for offshore sports betting business in a while. Has anyone had any issues with it? I know World Sports Exchange have had problems with their system, but everywhere I have tried it, it seems to work really well.

Considering how cheap and easy it is, could this be an eventual replacement to having to pay Netellers fees?

the congress is zeroing in on killing access to bank accounts.

the risk is enormous to give anyone your routing number and acct. number. someone can drain your acct. with the info

Intresting. However you give the same information to Neteller. Personally I trust places like CRIS and Olympic more than Neteller.

As for the government, I realize were talking about Bush, but how can they possibly stop you from writing a check to someone from your own account? A very scary world that would be, then again it already is one.

Smoke...I think you're right, but anytime you write a real check and give it to a company or an individual....are you not supplying the exact same information...IF,,they were up to NO GOOD? Just asking

I suppose one way to alleviate most of the potential damage would be to open an account that you would only use for this type of activity and never leave funds for very long in it.

the shittiest thing about echecks is they require you to enter

1. Your account number

2. Your routing number

3. Your drivers license

and worse yet

4. Your Social Security Number :monsters-

anyone stupid enough to do that shit deserves to get fvkd

:hump:

How do you really feel about them though?
Thanks for your insight. I'm not as concerned about it, but maybe I should be.

If you have ever used a credit card for online betting, your book alrealy has a copy of your drivers license. Also, Neteller has your SS number. What would have stopped someone working for them from using it improperly? I'm sure Neteller has had individuals of questionable backgrounds working in one capacity or another for them.

If you post up offshore or make purchases online, your info is floating around in cyberspace, there really isn't much you can do about it. I suppose WU is the only real true way of protecting your info if your are posting up with offshore sportsbooks and now they are doing their best to ruin that.

I don't use neteller, I play at pinny and oly, I send money WU with my credit card over the net and they pay my WU fees.

I do pay money for fedex w/d's but to me this is the safest way to bet offshore.

Has WSEX had any comment on their recent echeck problem? I haven't used it at all, but seems they should have responded or did I miss it.

As for using credit cards on line, you can have trouble anywhere. I bought some Vitamins-Diet Supplement from a US Company on line a couple years ago and they abused my card double and triple billing. I sent tons of faxed letters and statement to Visa....but in the end..I had to close the credit card account and was only able to get partial relief!!! So don't think for one second it can only happen with a foreign company!

So how can they do this and cover the audit trail?

My guess is that thieves don't worry too much about the audit trail, as they plan to do one of two things. A. Dissappear or B. Make it so difficult/or exppensive for you to get your funds back..you'll just give up. (They steal small amounts from lots of people...if this is their plan).
