Gambling discussion vs Off-topic discussion is a hard thing for moderators. It is a very fine line for them. The debate has went on for years and the only way to satisfy your concern is to move all off-topic (non-gambling or sports related) to another section, but then the calls of to much censorship cry aloud. Trendsetter, my best advice is to quickly determine if a thread is gambling related and if not, then do not read it buddy. There is room for all of it and there is no way to satisfy everyone. Some like the off-topic more than sports and vice versa.

Best of luck and I hope you continue to learn much from sites such as TheRx.com.

There is a wealth of knowledge here if you want it.

sorry trendsetter but you are fighting an uphill battle.....while i understand your concern you need to treat this place as pure entertainment value and occassionally pick up a nugget or two.....

when i first started learning all i could about sportsbetting and the industry as a whole i actively searched the archives of all the major forums and would sometimes spend all night just reading and learning..

however all the useful information seems to have disappeared a few years back and i have my own beliefs of why that is so...

make some friends here, have a great time at the bash and if you occassionally run into some offshore problems im sure the mods will do everything they can to help you as they are all pretty knowledgable and are willing to help....
