Well my buddy called, you know the one that is 4 or 5 and 0 on picks that I have posted here at the rx. Said he had a juicy one for me. At first, I hated it, but as I did some research I am starting to feel pretty good about it. So, with out further ado,

New York Yanks under 10.5 -110 (5 units)

seattle over 7.5 -113 (3 units)
baltimore over 9 -105 (3 units)
white sox under 9.5 +105 (3 units)

cleve -105 (2 units)
pitt -116 (2 units)
oak +124 (2 units)

Yeah..that 5 star is a scary play. Playing the under when the Bombers are playing against a left handed starter with a rookie on the mound for New York has "I knew better" after the game written all over it.

If anyone else posted it I wouldn't play it. But its hard to go against you or your friend.

thanks IS and Chop. A few notes from the game.

The rookie pitcher has one start and it was against TB at TB. He gave up 6 runs over 2 1/3 innings. That is what most handicappers will look at and that is what will make this line inflated. I believe it should be 9.5 by my system. On top of that the wind is blowing in from right field at about 11 mphs.

The rookie is a stud, or he wouldnt be starting again. He has earned it. In the minors, he was 2-1 with a 0.71 era at trenton (AA)and 4-2 with a 3.19 era in Columbus (AAA).

Fossum is winless in his last 8 starts, but has been pitching better. He allowed 4 runs over 7 inning in his last outing. Fossum is the crafty lefty type that is still learning to pitch. I dont think he will shut down the yanks, but if he gives up only 5 or 6 we should have a winner. If he pitches a gem, we have an easy winner.

Now that was funny. Wasn't easy but it was money. Today we learned that Fossum is learning to be a crafty lefty in the "Moyer in his prime" mold and Henn is "Rick Ankiel in his wild prime".

congrats to all the winners. Now 8-3 on the 5 unit plays or 72%.
