College WS's Hedge question.....Need some help

I have a futures play pending with Nebraska as CWS ouright winner at +3.10. $140 to win $434. Am having 2nd thoughts of them accomplishing the feat. Would it be wise to play Arizona St +200 for maybe $70 to win $140. Just in case or even go $140 to wn $280. Or should I just let it ride hope they get past ASU and then possibly try to hedge? Thanks.....

Definitely look what Boxslayer says about the game, if he likes the Huskers stay on the bet, if not I would then consider the hedge. I think generally speaking you aren't wise to hedge until it comes down to the last game, but of course every situation is different.

Let it ride.

Florida is in the driver's seat in their bracket.

Playing percentages I'd say ASU loses to Nebraska tomorrow and, then Nebraska has to beat Florida twice just to PLAY in the CWS, and then they would have to take 2 out of 3 from Texas to be the outright winner...

Just let it go and dont add to the fire.

Thanks Leykis...agree with you 100% about trying to hedge this early. WWill debate it back and forth until game time im sure. Will also wait for Box's analysis thank you.

I guess you have your answer, I always struggle with these hedge questions too, from what I've seen it's just usually best to stick with the original side you liked(maybe a hedge just a little if you get to the final game.
