I called my dad from a rest stop when it became apparent I would not get home by 9 PM. I told him your e-mail address over the phone, but he wrote it down wrong. at 8:30 pm he sent to picks to strutmut@aol.com ( note the m instead of n) and dantevose@hotmail.com
he also messed up and added an extra "e" to dantes e-mail. however, upon seeing a user unknown message in his inbox for dantevose@hotmail.com , he forwarded the message with the picks to dantevos@hotmail.com at 9:03.
so it is possible Dante received my picks at 9;03. i will abide by any decision made, even if dante did receive my picks i realize that is not the same as having them posted.
this stuff was just beyond my control. so much went wrong. when i called my dad, he said the website was down ( he uses aol) i suspect it was blocked or something else went wrong, i dont know.
when he told me the site was down, i told him to keep trying till 9 ( it was 8:30 then). I figured it was probably down for just a couple minutes and he would be able to get my picks in. I told him to e-mail fishhead and dante as a back-up in case site remained down. i understand the site was not down, but my dad tried several times using aol browser and could not get on to it. when I got home, i went around aol and used IE and got in right away. my dad is not that computer savvy to know to try that.
I have not been accused yet, but i would like to say i am not a scammer, I would not mess around with past posting and being a scumbag for $500. this sucks that this happened.
talk to dante and see if he did get an e-mail at 9:03 with picks. if yes, let me know what your decision is. if he did not, I understand my picks were too late well after tip off and should not count.

The position Jman is in, is having a contest with "rules" and then having a situation like this arise....He has asked for advice in the board room on what to do, if dante did/didnt get the email...
And for what its worth, Fishhead and I will NOT be involved in the voting, since we are in the contest...However You and I have picked enough props the same that it shouldnt have any bearing on our postiion, that is if the contest ends tonight.....If it doenst, then our picks were lsoers anyway...LOL
I thought about posting before I left at 3:30 ( drive should have been 4 to 4.5 hours) decided i did not want everyone to see my picks and pick around them. figured i would be home at 7:30 or 8 and would post at 9 or so. never, ever thought it could take so long. my only planned stop was 20 mins for dinner.
got BURIED in contruction traffic, then a wreck traffic about 10 miles farther down the road. i mean both were BRUTAL waits, parking lot style on the freeway.
I realized though close, I was not going to get home in time. So I stopped and called dad. I told him how to get to theprescription.com and how and where to enter the picks. he said he would do it and call me back at payphone in 5 mins. when he called back and said 'site down' I thought either its down for everyone and no one will get picks in, or site will come back up in a few mins and told dad to keep trying to get to rx.com till 9;00. then I thought to have dad e-mail fishhead and dante, for if site was down, at least they could vouch my picks were in before tip-off to them.

MrS..thats my exact time in the email.....not sure why the email says that time .... maybe hotmail is set to GMT time which would make 1230 what time???
sorry man thats the exact email you are not a scammer Mr Smith so if your saying you sent it before I would think people would believe you, I do ,but I do not run the contests
