I am sitting here taking my normal 10:00 break thinking about places to go to lunch. I am absolutely sick of all options around me. Chik-fil-a, Arbys, Million sub places, Mexican, Chinese....agggghhhhhh!!!!!

How did I get so spoiled where I cant think of 1 place to go for lunch. Oh well, back to work. Maybe an idea will be posted.

Yes, and I hate the feeling when I am starving!!

Usually the reason I make a point to have a decent breakfast.

i know exactly what you are saying....When i go through the nothing sounds

good or the "i really don't care day" which is rare, I try to eat healthy. i eat like

pure crap everyday all day so these days are for my body since my mind can't

be satisfied.

It's true, it gets tired really fast.

What's the dress code like at your job? I think that's part of it. I think part of the turn off is going to a place when lunch costs you 8 bucks but you look like you should be eating a 40 dollar meal. You stand out and you think they remember you when you go back. I hated sitting in a food court at the mall with a shirt and tie on, I think everyone is looking at me or something. I had good company usually but I still hated that aspect of it.

Better than blowing 15-20 bucks everyday at some restaurant though.

Got a Hooters near by? Excellent lunch option for the 5 wing flappatizer + a grilled chicken sandwhich.

Not a bad idea, but it's hard not to be late back to work.

Where are you in Charleston? I can give you a few suggestions. The Publix deli is always a good option, but there are other equally good suggestions.

I just discovered Quizno's, but Jersey Mike's has the best subs on the planet.

It's been a while since I've spent a whole lot of time in Mt. Pleasant, so I'm not much help.

I go through the same issue each day with lunch. Lately I've been giving in and walking across the parking lot to the deli in our office park. It sucks, but it is quick. I call it the "walk of shame".

Here in Champaign I love going to the White Horse Inn for lunch, delicious buffalo wings and buffalo chicken sandwhich. Also a good place called ZA's on and off campus that serves nice individual size made to order pizza's. All good stuff.

Open up your options and try other foods like Vietnamese, Greek, Mediterranean....I work by a Chinatown and they have some awesome Vietnamese restaurants around here. The food tends to be a bit healthier too. Your options become wider once you can start eating other culture's cuisine.
