Minnesota -132 (2 units)..I'm looking for Minnesota to end this recent slide they've been on, starting tonight. Mays has historically been dominant vs. Det. I know the faces have changed somewhat for Det, but Mays is in good form ( just needs a little more run support and better D behind him), while Robertson's recent form has been just the opposite. Lots of fat BA's and OBP's for Minny's current lineup vs. the Lefty in his career. The Twins have been pressing a bit at the plate, maybe this game vs. a very hittable pitcher will get thme back on track.
Florida -108 (1 unit)..Smoltz pitches like the pitcher we remember in the mid-90's, but it'll get easier today (hopefully) for the Marlins. Gonna fade "erratic" Horacio Ramirez again (recent form + past histroy vs. Florida). Moehler has come outta nowhere to be VERY dependable for Fla. His record is no indication of how well he's pitched. Fla needs to give him better run support. I've been encouraged by the Marlin bats lately 9except for last night). Atl have battled tough of late, but their lineup is still nothing to be scared of.
