I liked him a lot in Oakland...

When they had Zito, Mulder, and Hudson they were a great trio (obviously) and just looked like a fun bunch together...

It's sad to see Hudson struggling some this year, Zito falling out of form, and then Mulder...

Mulder just seems to feel "lost" with the Cardinals....Just watching him struggle on the mound so badly today is awful...I dont even have a wager on the game for much......:sad3:

It might only take one more inning. Ortiz even doubled to the wall. Mulder went into a complete funk last September and he was golden as a go-against. Might be that way again for awhile. He is completely clueless out there today. Good Luck!

Why is he still in there?

Guess they wore out their bullpen last night. They just yanked him for a pinch hitter. Ortiz is beginning to look alot like Ortiz.

He pitched in a couple big spots for the A's in the past and came up on the losing end.........off the top of my head he lost game 5 one yr vs. the Yanks and gm 5 at home vs Minnesota.........he just seems to not quite have it anymore. If you look at him fron the end of last season to the first 3rd of this season he is no better than an average pitcher.

Yep

When it was the big 3 in Oakland I guess the "Aura" followed them

They just seemed larger than life...even if they had a bad outing it was "ok"
They would bounce back or one of the other 3 amigos made amends with a huge performance

Mulder just looks sad out there now
