MANNY back to old self.....making errors and clobbering the baseball!

Average up to .270 after reaching base tonight for the 22nd straight game and making a collassal error tonight, his first of the season.

Personally, I would much rather have Manny make an error every two games and have him hit his .330 45 HR and 135 RBI average pace............rather than playing errorless ball and hitting .240

Side notes---John Olerud raised his average to .394 tonight with yet another good night at the plate...............this guy can just flat out hit.

thought Olerud would hit 400 that one year but he slid that last month.

great story though.....ricky henderson played with him in New York and then Seattle. Well he gets to seattle and he sees olerud and decides to ask why he wears the helmet all the time. Olerud tells him the story and Rickey says to Olerud...that's weird...I played with someone in New York last year and the same thing happened to him.

Sorry to ruin it Vike, and I know that Story has legs, but it's a myth. Both Henderson and Olerud say it never happened.

That's hilarious. I heard the same story on the Jim Rome show a couple of years ago. "That's weird, man, I used to play with a guy in New York that did the same thing." What a dipshit.
