Why would anyone pitch to Derrek Lee?

Don't get me wrong, I'm a Cubs fan so I don't mind if people continue to challenge him, but if you are an opposing pitcher what are you thinking? He has made Ben Sheets look like a AA pitcher with his two bombs today.

Sheff with the Pads was legitimate. He took it very late into the season. Don't remember how long ago it was, though.

Hes the one I was talking about. It was about 10 years ago. I think alot of people throw around triple crown talk like its so simple. There is a reason no one has done it since 1967. Because it is darn near impossiable. If people would pitch to Barry Bonds the last 5 years, he would have had a chance. But never got enough RBI chances.

yeah ben sheets being the pitcher should have put up red flags. i was about to go look up and see if ben sheets was actually pitching because i hadn't heard anything about that.
