Arizona State and Florida CWS Matchup

I will not have an elaborate post on this game but I believe there is a mismatch here. I have really been down on Florida and have listed their weaknesses many times. Florida is general, in all sports, chokes when big games are on the line. Florida sat pretty in the SEC tourney and all of a sudden went 2 and out. Florida was sitting pretty looking like they were going to cruise into the Championship game in Omaha and they got beat pretty good to Arizona State. The odds are against them today.
However I really like Florida today. Florida has Alan Horne on the mound who is very good. This guy can be dominant. Florida also has a rested pen and I really like Darren O Day who can come on and close things down. Florida looked sick yesterday at the plate against the soft lefty but have feasted against harder throwing righties. Arizona State does not have the pitching depth. They will need to pitch by committee again today and using guys who have thrown recently. This is a major mismatch. Nothing to just glance over and say well, Arizona State will manage.
There is no doubt Arizona State is a scrappy team and I even picked them to go to the Championship (against Tulane). However, I do not see them winning this one. If the Gators had anyone other than Horne, I would reconsider. If Arizona State had a crafty lefty starting, I would reconsider. I believe Florida will get good pitching and will work Arizona State's pitchers and come up with some big hits to win this one.

Again - as I have been saying for some time - and getting killed for it - but only by people who are upset i am right


SEC + Omaha = FRAUD

Gators could use a run in the bottom of 8 to make it 7-3. Would be nice to nail the game and the score on the dot.
