this kills me - watching ASU do what Fullerton should be doing - but it is nice so far seeing the SEC exposed for the frauds they are - at least so far (I can see Box streaming mad now - and Box does have plans to be in Omaha should the SEC frauds somehow stop playing with both hands around their neck and win the game - which is 180-degrees opposite of what the SEC does in Omaha)
the worst part could come this weekend if Texass/AS-what play for it all
i - and every other fullerton fan - will be rooting for BOTH teams to lose

Texass - there is ZERO love lost for Augie Garrido for many reasons - but after doing what he did last year after we beat him - ask any fullerton fan who their 3 fave teams are and you will get this answer
Fullerton and whoever is playing Long Beach and Texass
Fullerton fans will be rooting for AS-what ONLY to see Augie lose and if he does - to see if he comes up with the same B.S. excuse for failing to come out and get the 2nd place "trophy" like he did last year (and since he cost us the 1992 CWS Title game - he should know all about that 2nd place thing)

I would have DEFINITELY gotten an "I told you so" post from you after the game. Another year, another SEC team in the finals. And this is their DOWN year. LOL.

I know our capping styles differ. So, I'm trying to figure out what you do to look at games and cap games. The more I looked at this game, the more it pointed to Florida. I obviously even thought the line had 30 cents of value. More rest, better pitcher, better hitting, tougher schedule (LOL), better performance all year long, better team all year long, better record, tougher conference (LOL)...
The more I looked at ASU, besides their lefty hitters being able to match up with Floridas righty pitching, the more I realized everyone was getting caught up in cliched fan hype and they were the public side. More heart, more desire, momentum, they always play hard, they never say die, never count them out, they play well with their backs against the wall.
So, just out of curiosity, because you've taught me ALOT about things, what was there to over-analyze on this one? In other words, what was it that you saw on ASU's side that made you pull off a winning ticket?
