I believe Big Bet says under his avatar, FADE THE YANKEES IN 2005 & RETIRE!

I did not bet the Yankees tonight, but if forced would have bet them over Tampa Bay. Everytime I think it's unlikely they'll lose, they continue to lose....

Wonder how much $$$ you'd be up if you bet AGAINST the Yankees EVERY game this season?

They still could come back I guess, but this team really has issues, eh?

Having said all that, I still think the division will finish like this:

Boston
New York
Baltimore

Yankees are -25.4 units on the season. It will be tough for them to end up on the plus side considering they will be favorites almost every game.

The lines are simply inflated on a night in night basis, yet the White Sox, a far superior team's lines have only moved a little bit.

It's a little early to label them the "Tankees"....but they are well on their way.

If there is anything to get the Yankees back on track, it is their little bitch coming to town.

They were down -21.8 heading into tonight (obviously depends on the lines you were using) but with a -260 (-2.6 unit) loss tonight, they would be -24.4 units. I think I had a typo earlier and said -25.4.

Those were the numbers from Statfox heading into tonight's game.

It is safe to say that whatever the exact figure is, one would be up over 2 dimes if they were wagering $100 a game AGAINST the YANKS.

Not to shabby.........considering it is June 23rd

Clip it says all games -21.8

Yea...I corrected myself a couple threads ago. I was counting a -260 (-2.6 unit) loss tonight even though the game isn't over...that would take them to -24.4. The typo I had was -25.4. :toast:
