Red Eye was in town and the 2 of us watched the game at the Flamingo Sports Book. It was dead in there as the place was empty with lots of seats available and that Book doesn't have more than 30 seats anyway. 155 total points scored ? If I didn't have $$ on the game, I would have left long before game was over. I just hate the NBA anymore.

I thought it was a great game with it not being decided until less than 2 minutes.

I was more referring to the overall interest in the game. Nobody was even cheering and the Sportsbook at the Flamingo was empty ! Can you imagine how this could be when it is game 7 of the NBA finals which hasn't happened in years. Compare this to the Superbowl game ? The NBA is not doing well and one of the reasons is simply look at the score ! 155 total points ! Add to that the fact that the players are so over paid and spoiled. When I first bought season tickets to the Portland Trailblazers back in 1970, I had the best tickets in the house, dead center, 3 rows from the front and they cost $ 7.50 a ticket. How much would these type of tickets cost now ? Don't give me this bit about everything has gone up because of inflation etc. The price of tickets have escalated because the salaries have gone crazy.

The cities of Detroit and San Antiono do not have the market appeal either of a BOSTON, NEW YORK, LOS ANGELES, or CHICAGO.

it was a beautiful display of the art of fouling.

I was so impressed with the ref's taking over that game, I mean why let teams play in a game 7?

I am not sure how I won 2 props.

I had under 5.5 ft's for ginobli and under 4 ft's for rip, both props won, but I'll never understand how with so many foul calls.

Of course I lost my piston bet but could have won that with a prince 3 at the last second.

Game 7 was nothing but a foul fest

What in the world are you taking about? Must not of been watching the same game I was. Line on free throws was 32 1/2 and there were only 26 of them. Not exactly a foulfest as you put it.

Flamingo isn't exactly on the A1 sportsbook list, that might have 95 percent to do with your inablitiy to have a rockin time. I thought it was a great game, but then again I am not one of those people that says the NBA sucks just because good defense is getting played resulting in a lower scoring game.

the amount of free throws does not determine how many fouls were called. This game wasn't watchable. The refs, specifically Dick Bavetta, didn't let the boys play and made the game unenjoyable. Almost every possession there was a whistle. By the second half, players were hurling themselves towards the basket with their one on one moves because they know they'd get the call no matter what. Billups and Duncan were experts at that.

44 fouls called. Perfectly normal for an NBA playoff game. Not sure what game you were watching either.

I thought it was a very solid game. Not one of the greatest for sure, but plenty good enough. The spread and actual result were in doubt with leads frequently changing almost the entire game. I think some people just like to rail on the NBA for no good reason.

You're missing the Point Dante. It was a ok game that nobody cared about unless they had $$ on the game ! The TV ratings for this whole series were abysmal ! I already told you how exciting the 13 people at the Flamingo Sports book were as they were watching this thriller. The NBA sucks big time anymore ! I can barely stand to watch it ! If you listen to the Talk radio, you would have thought that Duncan hit 21-22 like Bill Walton did in ncaa Championship game. Actually He was 10-27 Nice ! 37 percent and He is proclaimed the best ever ? I am getting sick to my stomach !
