Quite frankly, these four consist of my personal ALL-TIME favorite offshore sportsbooks.

-FH-

ps- On a side note to this, keep in mind who your TOP FIVE sportsbooks for 2005 will be, as on DEC 1ST the RX will commence asking the valued posters of the RX to give their top five list........ and these rankings will then be tabulated to provide the consensus final poll.

It seems that the link provided for the top 2004 sportsbooks is wrong.

Wheres Cris and Olympic? Come on man. No list is complete without them two. Skybook puts out the slowest lines in the biz with the least options.

85 voters in 2004! Not bad for a sheet, but for a public survey, PLEASE! That's pathetic! I could do a better survey at the Mirage cardroom!:smoker2:

Please do so and report back if you wish.

If you do, what HUGE SIGNIFICANT changes do you see in the TOP 15?

Thanks,

First you would have to qualify the survey for squares or wiseguys, internet or phones, low-limit players or high-limit players and then it would be worth something. Right now you have your normal group of Rx posters who might as well be in bed together for all the same answers! In reference to the HUGE SIGNIFICANT changes we wouldn't know would we until we had a real significant number of the abovementioned subgroups. Thanks, -CC-

Having followed and been involved in the offshore business very closely basically since its inception, I find the RX POLL to be a very good reference tool overall in evaluating sportsbooks.

I think the majority of readers/posters here at the RX enjoy it and are looking forward to participating and viewing next years results.

UMM, how many writers vote in the AP college football poll.

Less than 70!

I guess that too has absoluetly no meaning and is completely worthless too.

Again, sorry the poll does not have merit to you.............you are more than welcome to feel that way.

However, as stated, think MANY enjoy it and get useful information from it.

I thought I was the only one that felt this way...why I never play there.

I think 5dimes blows them away..
more options
early lines
and you can parlay props from different games...only a few offer this...JMO

The only benefit I have found to Skybook is the free half point. That being said, that's a pretty nice benefit to have.

I would think DSI moves way up the list, because they are owned by CRIS, they are essentially a clone of CRIS now, same lines, same CS, same software, and I would assume, same financial solidness. However, their bonus policy is a bit more liberal. Best of both worlds, IMO.

Personally, I think WWTS is moving way down the list. Smaller bonuses, lines get posted later, added a 30 day hold to bonus policy (even if you met rollover) which is something only the smaller and weak books have traditionally done.
