Been in a HORRIBLE tailspin of late, let's see what the weekend holds
Texas/Houston UNDER 8 1/2 (-111) (3 units)...Rodriquez was headed for a very nice season last year for Texas before taking a line drive off his elbow last July. He's stepped in after Drese was released and has picked up where he left off. Oswalt has been pitching like his usual domiating self, is especially tough at home, and gets the Rangers at a great time, in the midsts of a slump. He lost a 2-0 decision last time out vs. Texas a month ago, and runs will be hard to come by tonight, imo.
Atlanta/Baltimore OVER 9 1/2 (+100) (1 unit)...Davies has been in a tailspin of late, and really don't see that trend turning around just yet vs. this lineup. While the Braves hit the ball well, before running into a guy named Dontrelle the other day. Should get some scoring opprotunities vs. Penn. O's bullpen has been getting better, but still not totally convinced. Braves bullpen is still awful. Let's score some runs!!!
Boston -104 (1 unit)...Always a risky proposition playing the knuckleballer, but he's been "on" in the last 2, and the Bosox are right on the O's heels now. Boston comes in swinging the bats nicely, which doesn't bode well for a guy who gives up the longball like crack ho's give BJ's for the pipe.
