Taken some serious time away from betting as the beginning of the Baseball season is brutal...but as the half-way point in the season arrives, we can see some trends taking shape....ie teams that hit LHP better ({Tigers})or roll-over in game threes...or hit the OVER at home and Under on the road ({Phillies})...stuff like that....
Tonight I'll roll out 3 plays and begin the tracking from here on out...I'll usually stop in early Sept as the ML's are crazy and some teams pack in it for the year...plus all the Rookie pitchers screw the lines...College Football is where the $$ is at....but until then we are stuck with Baseball.
Anyway enough rambling...Here are the Plays:
Philly -112 vs Boston - Trend Play here....teams that have won 4 straight on the road as a dog (Boston) are 1-6SU on the yr in the try for the 5th straight...oh yeah Philly is 5-0 at hm with a ML of -100 to -125 this season. Philly was a Huge Public play yesterday (vs Mets) they burned the public so many will go against them tonight...but the line is moving toward Philly not Boston. hummm??
Houston -150 vs Texas- More of a play on Oswalt than against Texas, as Oswalt is 6-1 at hm this yr plus 3-1 with a 3.55 ERA vs Tex......Houston trending upward with a 3 game winning streak while the Rangers have lost 4 straight....and Houston is pissed about the whopping the Rangers gave them in May...."They beat the snot out of us up there. We need to return the favor." The Public will remember the ass-kicking the Rangers did and fall into the trap.
Detroit +105 vs Arizona - Started at Detroit at -105...Like the Tigers getting to go against a Lefty tonight they at 10-4 on the year and outscore their opps by 2+ runs hitting 20pts better in batting avg in those games....take the small dog to bite against a road weary Diamondbacks team (10 straight on the road 1 day off)......
