Don't want to name the book or the specific prop, since it may very well be an advertiser here as well as a book of mine, but I find a prop in very poor taste.

The prop is on when a certain person will die?

I know the death pools are popular and find a certain fascination in them myself, but I really think this is in poor taste. Especially, for a book as big and reputable as this one.

Would rather not, because like I said it's a quality book and I dont really want to out them.

But the person is a world leader who probably isn't idolized by the Western World.

Either Sadam or Osama? That is still in poor taste even as disliked as they are to me. BAD TASTE defies all borders and beliefs doesn't it? tulsa

It's going to turn into a guessing game now, but it's not the first person who would come to mind.

He or she is certainly not nearly as evil as Saddam or Osama in my eyes.

All I'm saying is that it doesn't matter here. The least favorite I could name I named and even then it is in poor taste. Anyone else would still be in poor taste. I am just saying that I agree Green D. tulsa

Exactly Tulsa, even if it was one of those two for a major sports book to be placing this on their betting roster is definitely in bad taste. Death shouldn't be wished on anyone.

What do you have to lose GD? at least tell us who the prop is on. If you don't want to give the book publicity, then we can all understand that.

Isn't there still a $25 million bounty out for Bin Laden? I would think there's nothing wrong with wishing death on him. I wouldn't bet on that, but to me it would be no different than betting on a hunting competition for deer or something. Bin Laden is nothing more than an animal.

Why don't they also make book on how long it will then take the US to set up a puppet government in Cuba? Oh, I know CIA interference only becomes fully known as history not current events.

Wilheim, you can now move this to the rubber room since the lead in doesn't fit in politics.
