My whole experience with mansion has ended after 2 days. I posted up about 500 and ran it up to almost 1500.00 by tonight. I sent them scans of my license as well as the front and back of my credit card as asked. I received an email from them telling me it was not sufficient as my license does not show the exact same address as the address i have listed wit thema.Well EXCUSE ME for moving....I emailed them back scans of my check book as well as the mail from my bank showing my new address change (on the envelope as well). They now have scans of my id, the credit card front and back(prepaid credit card btw) and mail from my bank as well as a scan of my checks all showing my name and address here in Tennessee. Now they send me an email saying it has to be a utility bill. wtf???Well thats just great as the utilities aren't in my name..
Was mansion sold to royal over the last few days? I am getting the patented "royal" jerking off and i don't appreciate it.I fully understand asking for proof of identity and credit card but this demand of having to provide a utility bill only is b.s. Are they saying i won"t be able to withdraw because the utilities are not in my name? Once this is rectified i will never play with them again....I hate dealing with idiots!:hammerit

The power of the boards. They have just contacted me letting me know they will now accept the proof of address i sent instead of their demands for a utility bill only.I am still not happy with the way it was handled and the fact that i am still up after 6am dealing with this. I have put in for a withdrawal and asked to close my account for good.Left a bad taste...

It sucks when they'll take your money without ID yet require it for payouts. As long as they pay it back to the same place it came from, how could there possibly be fraud!? I've never understood why some books do this. Seems like a stalling tactic or maybe they're hoping you'll get fed up and just gamble the money away. Not good in any case.

I wouldn't say Mansion was jerking you around. Sometimes customer service people follow rules to the letter. They don't think outside the box. I am sure once a supervisor became aware of your situation, you were able to get your money.

silly to let one bad experience turn you away from this book, their customer service (email) is very very fast, payouts are Fast (even saturday & sunday) aswell they have the best lines on the net.

okay, there was a problem with the ID, but now that it is settled it is finished.

Yea Vegas. You already went through the hard part. Its all easy street from here. You need to stay with them. You will never have any pay issues to deal with, and they do have some great lines.

With that being said, Mansion will never be as big as they can be unless they make the first time withdrawl process a little easier. I wonder how many people there are like Vegas who just threw there hands up leaving Mansion over this kind of frustration.

Personally I have little problem when a book makes sure it's ME they are sending MY money to. I can understand some frustration whith such items as utility bills when you have others in your household who have them in their name. The liscense address problem is what triggered the need for other ID. natrually the book (Mansion in this case) has no idea anyone moved so their request for further ID. seems justified, again (as already posted) most books have strict payout procedures. Vegas, I am sorry to hear you are pulling the plug after your Identification issue has been cleared up.

wil.

PS. Lesson learned advise books of address changes beforehand whenever possible for payout reasons.

I had a similar problem at sportsbetting.com, but once I sent all the info they needed I never had another problem with payouts. Give WSEX a try .

stay away from them, they accept your deposits but then ask you to fax your life when you request a withdrawal?

I agree with Choptalk ... after the intial ID verification it is easy street ... I am very happy with Mansion and their CS responds quickly.

I have had to do this with a few other books so it is kinda becoming commonplace.

Is this the first time you have ever been asked for ID??

The ID thing is only once, then you get awesome deals on the exchange. Mansion is a great book. One's DL is supposed to have current info, it's a law where I live, 30 days I believe. I doubt anybody gets charged for not updating it.

Once Vegas gets his quick pay he hopefully cools off and returns.

Just started with them recently, now got me thinking when I request a withdrawal. Used Neteller, what could they be asking from me when the time comes?

Thanks,

Guys,

thanks for the advice. I must say i was a little too angry last night. I apologize for the rant.I just have a short fuse when it comes to books giving me any kind of undue headaches. I have no problem with mansion asking for the id and credit card but it just pissed me off that until i told them i was letting shrink know (who vouches for them publicly) as well as the board was the situation relooked at. I wonder if i didn't have that at my disposal would have it been rectified so soon.I think the comment "looking at outside the box" that was made is right on. I explained to them the utilities were not in my name but i had other mail showing my new address. Until shrink's name and the board came into play they wouldn't budge that it specifically had to be a utility bill. Add that to i had 2 stinging losses to end the night and needless to say i was a little over the top.
Anyways, it's rectified now and am not worried about getting paid.To their credit customer service did answer all my emails within 15 minutes which is pretty rare for a book and while ignorant about looking at the situation were polite. I learned 2 things over this. Books need to "look outside the box" as posted and i need to stay away from the wnba:lolBIG: .

I sent them an email asking if there will be any other problems now that they have my info on file. If there will be no further hangups i will continue there as i do like the setup and got some decent prices (yankees/mets over 7.5 +103 while others had it at 8o -110 at the time)and really like the gatti fight under 11 rounds tonight +145. Those 2 are going to try to kill each other quickly.

not a bad idea to use a passport when sending proof of id........they are valid for 10 years and we dont have to worry about confidential information such as social security number which is the driver license number of some states...

i understand your headaches vegas but im sure its just a bump in the road
