Still havn't announced official starters yet. I know some of you are dying to grab a line, but you really can't cap this game unless we know who's starting for Florida, and even for Texas can make a difference in this game. Florida's starter will dictate the play for us. Be patient. The play will be up at least 2 hours before gametime if anyone is interested. If I find out in 5 mins, it will be up in 10 mins.

5 unit plays and up-

11-3 (+612.50 units) (units ridiculously high only because I put my entire account on 2 games that were locks, then 25% of my account after that on other locks)

Hitting at 79%, tonights play will be a 5 unit play...the pitcher is so damn important though and it will be in the write-up.

Later.

I know I have trashed the SEC mercilessly the past few years but ALL of the value here lies with FL in G1 (maybe) but definitely in the series - getting +200 ish or higher

I am not saying Florida does not have a chance because that would be ridiculous but this is a great matchup for Texas. They have already beaten one of the top teams in the SEC in Ole Miss on the road. They have lost 2 series all year, one being to Baylor who they beat twice in Omaha when it counts the most. They have been here many times before.

Look at the pitching though. Texas comes in rested and ready with the top 5 ERA in the country. Florida has an experienced very good pitching staff as well but they are not coming in healthy or rested.

Florida's ace---Horne ---OUT with injury
Florida's #2----Boss---pithced 5 outstanding innings 2 days ago against ASU
Florida's #3----Ball----Fighting injuries for most of the 2nd half of the year and still not healthy
Florida's Pen----Basically consists of 2 sidewinders Falkenbach and O Day---both can be successful but have been hit hard many times as well.

Please do not even mention any others like Locke, or Pete, or Porter all erratic. So basically Florida has 5 pitchers and 3 are healthy. That is such a huge advantage, you cannot overlook it whatsoever.

Texas matches up very well with Florida. Florida's D can be very shaky and with constant pressure on it are definitely liable to make several errors. Texas has the pitching staff to shut Florida down. Florida in general has not been hitting well in the tournament. They came alive some against ASU but like I said before, Florida had a big pitching advantage against ASU in that last game.
Yes you can look at value and hope some way Florida's bats are on fire and rip Texas to shreds. However, I am taking what I feel is the right side. Texas---Just too much of a pitching advantage, experienced, and a team that puts a lot of pressure on the D. Really like this one a lot!

I know my 2 cents wont mean much but I have seen Texas play more than anyone on here I imagine...I am not enamored with them. They have some good players and usually get the ones they want..I just dont think they are as good as in the past. I am on Fla in all respects.

Hope it is not because I just truly dont like them folks..Hope it is my humble but accurate opinion.
