Clemens, not just for seniority either although I think that can be a factor. With the emphasis on winning the game, you can bring Dontrelle in to pitch his inning or two in an inning where the toughest lefty AL bats are due up. Pedro does not get the nod over Roger based on the seasons they are having. If Houston could score runs, Clemens would easily have double digit wins.

While the generic numbers may point to Dontrelle, Pedro has out-pitched everyone in baseball.
