The Yankees consenses line is about -205 right now. Randy Johnson is 7-5 ith a 4.02 ERA.

This line is about the same as it would be if Johnson was the leading canidate for the CY Young award right now. Im convenced that if Johnson was 8-1 with a 2.32 ERA there would not be 10cents difference than what it is right now. This is about the same number Johnson would get in the past under the same conditions when he was dominent.

Does anyone else agree with this? And if so, how come people are still willing to bet this inflated line?
Thanks.

Cuz it's the Yankees man..........27 world titles and blabby blabby. We just expect em to win. Same thing with The Unit. And people pay it. I haven't touched the Yankees either way in a long time. I'm happy just watching em lose.

I think if he was 8-1 & 2.32 or whatever the line would be around -260. I'm not too sharp either tho.

If he was 8-1 2.32 ERA this line would be -260 at least.

Hell if you want proof of that just look at Johan's ridiculous lines.

santana's lines were exactly what I was thinking of...twins are only 6 or 7 games better than .500.

Santanna is another overpriced pitcher that I have never takin on the moneyline in my life. With that being said, if santanna were pitching for the Yankees tonight, I dont think their would be a whole lot of difference in the line.

The bottem line is tonights game is over priced and whoever layed the juice is sweating there ass off right now.
