The Runner (Courtney Cox and John Goodman) and Rounders are two that come to mind.

High Roller "The Stu Ungar Story" Fails on many levels as a motion picture.

But if you're a gambler or a poker player, you'll still find interest in it.

I'd reccomend it to any Rxer, just not to someone like my movie buff mom

Booze was actually thinking of buying The Hustler the other day at Wal-mart. Great prices there. Ended up buying U-Turn & Blue Streak.

Paul Newmen stars in The Hustler correct? Seems good.

Just watched Miller's Crossing a few weeks....good movie.

Has anyone watched Bookies?

Correct. If your a fan of pool at all, the movie is an absolute must. George C. Scott & Jackie Gleason are great as well.

Two lesser known gambling flicks that are pretty good are "The Deli" and also "Dinner Rush"..Both cross NYC/NJ BMing, Degeneracy, and the Restraunt biz.

When Dinner Rush namedropped Joey Bag Of Donuts in it's opening dialogue, I knew it had to be a sleeper.

Thanks Horseshoe will be watching them soon! Took your word on Dinner Rush when you mentioned it was decent a while back. Been looking to purchase with no luck. I prefer buying over renting at a great price......10ov30 in the Colon game worth a shot? Don't play bases much.

And old one "Fever Pitch" with Ryan O'Neil.

Not the new movie with that name. This one is maybe 20 years old or so.
