It may sound absurd but why not file criminal charges in the local jurisdiction. An attorney could get the ball rolling for a $5000 retainer and start the heat. Why screw around anymore?

This stiff joint is located in Costa Rica. It take 4-5 years here to get your case heard in front of a judge. By that time they will be out of business or moved to another country.

ID - sounds like you have never been to any of these Latin American countries. First off a criminal case would be out of the question when you are talking about being owed money. Secondly only the person "allegedely owed" might have some sort of civil case, not just anyone who read about a book slow or no paying on the internet. From experiece it appears players are mainly interested in getting their money, not spending thousands more on a trip to another country only to trust some lawyer they most likely know nothing about, and then paying him even more money. Bottom line, without getting to long winded, is that proving fraud or even malfeasance is no mean feat, and would require extensive documentation and or evidence. Natrually anyone can file a suit, winning or even having the suit come before a judge are very much different things.

Yes, plus he has paid off members high up in the government. And that's not too difficult to do here.
