Clemens is 2-0 in five road starts and has allowed just 16 hits in 32 innings on the road. The Astros have managed a total of 11 runs in those outings.

The seven-time Cy Young Award winner will be making just his third career start at hitter-friendly Coors Field, where he is 1-0 with a 5.59 ERA in his first two outings. The 42-year-old right-hander failed to last past the sixth inning on both occasions.

``He's still like a big kid in the backyard playing Wiffle ball,'' Rockies manager Clint Hurdle said of Clemens. ``He's been a treasure for the game. I'm looking forward to seeing him show up tomorrow night, and see if we can be the first team to score a run against him on the road.'' Clemens improved to 3-0 with a 2.16 ERA over his last four starts by allowing two runs -- one earned -- and five hits over seven innings in a 6-2 win over the Rockies on Wednesday. He improved to 2-0 with a 3.78 ERA in three career starts against Colorado.

Now that he has to hold the bat, he no longer throws bean balls. Just shows he never needed to. That's the only thing I disrespect about him. He couldn't get Piazza out so he tried to kill him. Very chickensh t. Other than that, he's one of the best ever.
