Hi,
Im wondering what the acceptable use policy of lines.therx.com, Im thinking about developing an application, that scrapes the lines and puts them into a database etc, for recordkeeping, rather than having to type all the lines in manually that I bet. Am I going to have lawyers comming after me if I automate this process? I dont think so, but a few people that I have talked to said to ask first, because its possible that this type of thing is not allowed.
Thanks,

STLantny welcome to The Rx. to answer your question: Not really sure.

I will leave it for live lines tech Lander to answer. I am sure he will see the thread soon.

I would think that constitutes a reasonable use but your question does not make sense so I query your motives.

"Can I develop a bot to put lines in a database so I have a record of the lines I bet"

Surely the book provides a record of the lines you bet. All you need to do is cut and paste and parse the input? Perhaps you should look at:

Im not the one betting, I just need to see the lines in real time, and be able to access them in real time, using my data base program that mattes to an accounting system.
