Whats the norm? I usually give $100. Even if I don't go. What about if your standing up in the Wedding? I stood up in friends wedding last year. I gave $300 I think. And how about if your the Best Man? I will be best man this coming October. I'm thinking $500.

Just wanted to get some thoughts

i was asked to be the MC in a wedding aswell as my fiancee was part of the wedding party, each of us had to PAY EXTRA for clothes, I had to rent a Tux (300$) my spouce had to buy a Dress (300$) SHEESH....

****Dont make your guests rent TUXEDO's if you ever get married****

Anyway, long story short, wedding cost us a fortune..... when it came down to buying the gift, seeing as we had already spent so much money being part of the wedding party, we just got a small give
