This was promised weeks ago...I told you guys that. This was a done deal basically in writing by last week.

Here is the problem with doing that though...LOOK AT THE GUYS THAT FELL TO #12. There were players available that were MUCH better with A LOT more upside.

This guy is a 6'9" high schooler with a jumper...did we really need to go to Russia to find this? We could have found someone in the 3rd round that can do what this guy can do.

Danny Granger, Joey Graham, Sean May, Hakim Warrick...come on!

Ridiculous pick.

Just another example of how bad the front office is for our team. It isn't Sterling that fucks this team up...it is the General Manager and his jesters.

Are you telling me we couldn't package Granger/Graham/May/Warrick (one of those) with Wilcox and a future #1 for a big time player?

Bullshit as usual on draft day...the good news is we already have a talented roster as long as we resign Simmons. But it sure would have been nice to upgrade today with all this talent available.

Gerald Green welcome to the Celtics! :103631605

Awesome awesome pick, 6-8 200 LB. SG.....won the All Star Dunk contest and scored 24 points with 6 3 pointers in the mcdonalds all star game.

Now watch, he will play 3 years with Boston with 10 minutes a game and then go to the Suns and be a 27 ppg scorer

I think Granger is a nice pick for the Pacers at that spot. Surprised he made it that far. I was kind of hoping they would get Jack though but I can live with Granger. I think Jarret Jack is going to be a great one.

Not at all...I love Wilcox. It is just obvious they are not going to use him. I still can't understand why. But if we aren't going to use him, I would much rather trade him while he has value instead of doing the usual like let him walk as a free agent and get NOTHING in return.

My only hope is this means they plan on giving Wilcox minutes. They really aren't very deep at PF/C and if everyone is healthy, he should play 20+ minutes a game at PF and C.

But there really is very little logic in taking this guy. He has played against high school competition basically and wasn't even a star. There were so many talented players available. It makes me sick.

I understand they aren't planning on him contributing and will probably end up in Europe this year. So if that is the thought process, why waste a pick on this guy??? Take one of the studs with value available and trade them to get a veteran which this team needs. There will be someone available next year of equal talent as this guy. You weren't going to use him this year anyway.

Man...this crap gets old year after year.
