A buddy of mine just started working there. He was telling me that they make some nice money selling insurance to seniors. Six figures is the norm. Last week one of the agents made 25k in a week!!! Now he is not the sharpest tool in the shed, he never went to college etc. I was just wondering if they are feeding him a line, or if he got himself into a good deal. Anyone know??

If he's selling life insurance, there is no reason to sell for anyone other than Northwestern Mutual. If he's selling med supp, then he's in a great market, although I could probably get him on with a better company, which I work for.

He said something about Long Term Care is their company focus.

Thanks for the responses. I am going to call him and tell him to check out the comments. Wait, I mentioned not the sharpest tool.....maybe I should just tell him the results. lol

25k in a few months is still pretty good. Is this the norm??? I have a degree and didn't make that kind of money for a good while after college and he has no formal schooling.

Thanks for the response

sell a million dollar annuity and I'm sure you would get 25,000 in commission so it's feasible. Have to be lucky to catch one of those fish though.

It's all about the sales-it comes down to how hard you can push the BS.
