Did anyone else grab Venus @+2,500 before the tournament?

In the final four with a fighters chance, did anyone grab Venus (former champion) at +2,500 before the tourney started?...a friend of mine has her at +2,500 hope he wins.

Very nice surprise to come home to....

Just one more match, and yes Jman, i will probably hedge a little now that she is in the final, but i do have faith she can win....

The odds were steep because it was assumed she would have to beat Serena, which is always a tough task, then mary pierce, then Sharapova, and then probably Davenport...

The bracket opened up when Serena lost, and here she came....

I truly believed if she could beat Sharapova, the final would be easier....But since she is this far, i am probably gonna insure i win a "little" no matter what.....

I only have 40.00 on her, but for me thats 1000.00, and would be a nice chunk to bring to Vegas with me.......

Go Venus Baby....!!!!!!

P.S. ...I SWEAR, this is the first tennis future i have EVER played....I bet the matches sometimes in grand slams, but never a future before, nor have i played futures in other sports....never really interested in them...but looking at the lines last week, i saw Venus to win Wimbledon at +2500, this was the round before Serena lost.....Seemed awfully high, even though she was down at a #14 seed, as this is a former champion, who can still overpower opponents when on......

I checked with Railbird and he said he'd let us know after the finals whether or not he had Venus to win it all.

I have Davenport and Sharapova from pre-tourney bets and was looking forward to seeing them both in the final. Now I'm feeling slightly sick but still should be a good final to watch.

In fact if I was Bucs fan I would put a dime on Lindsay at +125, so you win 1210 instead of 1000, basically swithcing sides to the better player and the 1 seed

Never thought

Venus could beat Pova as easily as she did yesterday. It's wierd, as soon as the other Williams sister gets eliminated from these tourneys that ignites some Bohemian fire that i have never scene before. I was on Sharapova big and i lost my ass and i would think that Sharpova could beat Venus now 8 out of 10 times these days. Venus is a totally different player than she once was and way more inconsistent. I just think that rain delay yesterday screwed Sharapova yesterday and effed my bank account.
