..Mets and Yanks talking about a package deal that sends Cameron to the Yanks for Sheffield???

I think this may help both teams, Sheff has always been a great NL hitter, while Cameron's best success came in Seattle (AL)

thoughts??

I hope that trade isn't made the yanks need another left handed bat and some pitching but I keep sheff.

Just another stupid steinbrenner trade that won't do much .

The yanks need pitching more then anything why make a trade for the sake of making one lol, steinbrenner is famous for that, he should just fire the pitching coach instead of making that tarde.

Pitching has done them in more then anything get some pitching, and stop wrecking young pitchers futures like henn, another thing hes good for .

Sheff is doing well see if he can make that trade for giambi .

The Yankees better get more than just Cameron for giving up Sheffield, at least one decent pitcher whether it be a middle-relief or good young prospect, otherwise the Mets are coming away winners in this one big time. Shef, along with A-Rod, are pretty much the only two guys playing up to their abilities right now for the Yankees while to me Cameron is a good player but far far from great. Just my opinion so we'll see.

The Mets shouldn't do the proposed deal: Cairo and Cameron for Sheffield. They lose a very good backup in Cairo and give up a gold glove (much younger) Cameron for Sheffield. Shef is a great hitter but his age is of concern. I would be shocked if this deal happened. BTW, Cammy isn't a bad hitter himself with great speed.

Pointless trade for both teams in my opinion. It doesn't address either teams needs.
