Lidle has pitched well on the road but he is,just as many good pitchers have been this season, a victim of poor run support.Hes got a road era of 2.80 and a whip of 1.08 in 8 road starts (6-1 Under).He fails to win them b/c the Phillies are only avg 3.5 runs for him in those starts (3.25 Avg Against).Ishii is a similar story at home.Hes got an era of 3.91 and a whip of 1.18 in 4 home starts.In those starts the Mets are giving up 4.75 as a team but are only scoring 2 rpg for him.Mets have been hitting but Lidle has the ability to limit them today IMO.These guys just sqaured off last week and neither got to 100 pitches but neither was really beaten up.Philly has not hit on the road (3.9 rpg) much and hasnt hit too well lately (4.0 L7).We also get an ump with a big ole strike zone tonight who should help both guys in this one.
