A's - 154

Blanton has been outstanding of late. In June he is 4-1 with a 2.02 era with a .186 BAA. He has been a better home pitcher going 4-1, 4.15 era. He started out the year shacky but is making me a believer now.
Franklin at night is 2-6, 5.10 era, rd 2-4, 4.17 era. A's have won 9 of their last 10 and are playing WINNING baseball, and are a better home team as well. I'd like to see the line at 140, but the linesmakers know what they are doing here. Let's get one for the Gipper.

Other picks considered were AZ, Det 1st 5, and Wash.

damn, hate that I'm on the other side. Believe this is the first time since you started posting again. I just don't think oakland should be -160 against anyone unless McGwire, Tejada, Reggie Jackson and Canseco are still in the lineup. Oh yeah, i need eck in the pen too. lol

Smoke - I don't hardly ever play the run line on big bets. Maybe if I were to bet it for a smaller amount, but these pick of the day plays I have I bet a lot of money on, so I just don't want to go down when my team wins by 1 run. If you don't want to lay the juice then you might parlay with AZ.

Why.me - yes, good luck to us my friend.

TN - I'll be rooting for all your early games then and hope you will be due for a loss when this one starts. The line is not a bargain, I do agree, I feel it should be 140. But, I'm playing it because I think A's win this 2 of 3. I think the book makers are seeing this the way I am seeing it.

I think this is a very safe bet, so I went ahead and took the RL and the under!!!

Hopefully Franklin doesn't get beat up too bad and I take both!!

No thing as a safe bet, but I think it is solid. Best of luck. I hope Franklin gets lit up for about an 8-0 score. I'll take 8-0 after one too so I can relax a bit as long as they keep that lead. If only it was that easy..........

CWS w/Garcia is the best bet. And not just b/c he has been pitching well lately.

Take a look at Garcia's GB/FB ratio and compare it to Maroth's. If you had to have a FB pitcher in all parks, which would it be? Great value as small road fav, too. Get it before it grows to -135 in the morning.
