Besides the obvious gambling and casino stops....for all new visitors, to Las Vvegas, what are the things to see that we don't necessarily know about?

Thanks

Fish- are these easy to find places?

Yes

Red Rock Canyon might be the easiest for you as it is no more than 20 min from the Golden Nugget.

Just take WEST CHARLESTON AVENUE straight out of town and you will be there..............great scenery and excellent for rock climbing.

These are probably in the obvious category but I would suggest the following:

Hoover Dam (no tour and go early or late to avoid traffic)

Venetian (Of all casinos, this one is most impressive)

Playing golf on a desert course (Completely different than East coast golf, plus you get to see a million rabbits)

Drinks at Voodoo Lounge at Rio

Fremont Street (99 cent Golden Gate shrimp cocktail and around 10 casinos in a 1/2 mile block)

By the way, the burger place at Mandalay has the best burgers in Vegas.

What is it?

Simply a fast-food joint that serves ONLY bugers, fries, and drinks..........NOTHING ELSE.

The fries are cut fresh on the premises and the burgers all use the freshest of tomatoes, lettuce, and fresh cut onion.

I LOVE THE PLACE, as do thousands others................there is almost always cars at LEAST 5-7+ deep at the drive-thru constantly.
