The General tried to get myself and Boston1 paid for the money they stoled from us in 2002. But to no avail. The CROOKS had our hands tied and would not pay us any of the money in our accounts if we didn't sign an agreement saying we wouldn't pursue getting any more money. Well, it was either something or NOTHING and I chose SOMETHING. So I signed the damn letter. So the sorry asses are just going back on that letter I signed as the reason for not paying me now. I want to thank General once again for his willingness to help while never asking for anything in return. You, General Pete, are one of a kind. Thanks again for your efforts.

Generals e-mail to me and Boston1

Good morning gentlemen. Last night, on your behalf, I was able to speak with Mike Forman of Betus. Mike is a recent addition to Betus, but had looked into the matter involving the problem you experienced with Betus. Mike made it very clear to me that Betus will not pay any monies to you and that he will make a post today explaining the reasons. Betus is standing by an opinion that you guys signed an agreement which put closure on this matter. I explained that even so, the case could still be open for discussion and it would be better for them to open the case once again as they are looking for more of a forum presence, but Mike was insistent on standing by the original agreement. I explained that 2 recent cases with Mybookie & Royal involved a previous settlement which was overturned in favor of the player, but again he wanted to stand by their decision and he stated that he will make a post today explaining their side.
I am sorry i could not be of more help guys. I did try to open the case back up and come to a final resolution which could have pleased you and helped the Betus reputation.
Take care,

Pete

MFG, did you contact Russ at MW?

It won't do any good...

Russ took the book's side even in the MyBookie situation simply because the player agreed to .30 on the dollar. Shrink and General got the player paid his full balance.

Why wouldnt they pay you anything until you agreed to accept less? If they would not pay you unless you accepted less that is nothing less then downright theft. I truly hope anyone who saw this thread will stay far away from any book that would ever do that.

I was extremely troubled when MajorWager refused to help a player that was stiffed by My Bookie. If it was'nt for The RX, this player would never have been paid. Bettors that are being stiffed and then forced to sign agreements to get pennies on the dollar are not settlement agreements. Can you imagine getting robbed at gunpoint, and the robber having you sign an agreement that you will not press charges? You go to the police(watchdog site) and they tell you they won't help you because you signed an agreement? If we as posters allow this by turning a blind eye, we as posters will then see crooked books appear on watchdog sites. What do you know, look what we have across the street.

The problem pretty much lies with you guys!!!!!

WHY THE FUCq!!!! DO YOU LEND CREDENCE TO THOSE BULLSHIT GUNPOINT
AGREEMENTS!!!!!

A player should be paid fully what is owed....PERIOD!!!! FULL F@CKING STOP NO IFS AN OR BUTS!!!!!!

Any time a book accepts your wager, they have entered into a binding contract that should supercede any other agreement entered into even with the signature of the player...

The outstanding contract has been violated...There is absolutely no reason why any watchdog site should even pretend to look at or even talk about any other contracts entered after the bet was accepted...

Do us all a favor and stop treating us like idiots!!!!! (Yes i am a newbie with a loud mouth and opinion that will be passed on regardless..)

This goes to all those dispute handlers/ mediators.... Books dont get to violate agreements automatically entered into when they take your bet and then proclaim the validity of a second contract entered into after they did like the out come of the first one!!!!!
