Under 8.5 (-115) Oakland/Seattle.....The A's are 13-8 Under in division contests (4.0 rpg) while the M's are worse at 13-7 Under (3.4 rpg).Both teams have some trouble with righties as well...A's 31-19 Under (4.1 rpg) vs RH starters and Mariners are 31-20 Under (4.4 rpg) vs RH starters.Meche and Haren square off today...both 3-0 in thier last 3.However Haren has been dominant (2.62 era / .880 whip) while Meche has been the benficiary of some serious run support (like 9 rpg).Dont think that happens today with Haren on the mound.Haren hasnt let up more than 2 er in either of his starts vs Seattle this year...while in his 4 starts last year vs the A's Meche never let up more than 3 er in any outing.Both BPs have been stout: Oak 3.25 era overall (2.16 L3) and Seattle 2.82 era overall (1.77 L3).Good ump today with moderately high strike % should keep the game rolling.
