In case you aren't familiar with what I'm doing, I've been experimenting with some nonsense and thought ya'll might be interested. I believe that in the long run, all things will even out. In other words, all things (good or bad) will come to an end. Well, I've decided to just use this idea and apply it to sports. Teams and players in all sports tend to hit hot and cold streaks. So I'm looking for streaks of all types and betting against them, with a three time progression. I know the dangers of Martingaling but if done right you could prosper. I don't recommend anybody follow me blindly, because there is really no logic or number or stats or particulars that I'm using. Some of these may be based on the series matchup, some may just be based on a particular team, some may be based on the pitcher. I'm going to try to stay consistent regarding the starting point for fading streaks. I find that most streaks are ending between 5-7, so I'll start with 5.

Overall: 32-31 +9.51 units
LOAP: 32-3 +45.34 units

This seems to be working out well. +45.34 units in 10 days, I've never done that before. Hopefully this will continue through the season. I've decided to start a new thread, for the month of July. I hope you don't mind. I'll post Friday's plays here and in the new thread, but I won't grade these plays in the old thread.

Friday's Plays:

2 units Toronto Blue Jays +200
2nd prog of clement fade

1 unit Toronto Blue Jays +200
1st prog against lilly road losing streak

1 unit Washington Nationals +144
1st prog of Prior fade (5 straigh wins); this one is a bit tricky b/c both pitchers are on current wins streak. i decided to take the dog rather than make a play on both and take it from there.

1 unit LA Angels -151
1st fade on hernandez home strk

1 unit Florida/New York under 8 -113
1st prog of mets over fade

1 unit Pittsburgh/Milwaukee OVER 8 -111
1st prog of series under fade

1 unit Chi Sox/Oakland OVER 8 +110
1st fade on sox unders (5 str)

love your creative thinking, i enjoy doing that myself, nice start for you as well. would urge caution on the martingale approach (meaning dont stay married to it, if it fails you), also would urge you to do a daily thread, as this should be something interesting to follow, really wish you good luck with this..

Do you think there would be a difference if I ran a daily thread? Just wondering, if you rather, I'll do both. Thanks and good luck to you too

it just seems easier to follow that way, once you get into the month .... this is a unique and interesting approach that you have going, wondering what your criteria is (other than just 5 in a row).. also the A's have won 7 in a row, i take it that your not simply fading teams streaks, i wouldnt do that..

personally id go with an updated daily thread and drop the monthly one,, i think most here would agree.. any comments fellas..

but you do what you wish, and ill be reading your thread daily, im always looking at different ways to WIN... and really thats what this is about.....

well, there really is nothing to it, ssi. i'm just fading streaks of 5 or more. That's It. If a pitcher has 5 straight decisions one way, fade. if a team has 5 straight wins when a pitcher starts, fade. if a team has hit 5 straight unders, fade. KISS! As for Oakland, I'm in the air about them. I've already faded them in response to a home win streak, which I lost, carrying over from their previous homestand. Now they are on a straight up win streak, of 7 games. They are two separate win streaks, so I guess that qualifies for a play. Dammit! What do you think? I'm leaning towards adding it. White Sox for plus money at +150 seems valuable.

Interesting system. I like the main idea behind it. Looking foward to following this system. I also have been trying to find a good system to use especially one that would work in any sport. Not had much luck so far.

I would suggest to do a daily thread because just because it would get to long. It saves time when in getting the picks. Sometimes these threads can get kina long.

Chose or lose - you say you are to bet after 5, but a lot of the bets are after only 1 outcome. A little confused, please explain a bit. Thanks, Shack

Nice job...I must have missed it in another thread. Could you please explain to me your LOAP results 37-3 very impressive. Are those progressive series wagers on martingaling until it wins or series is over?

My overall record is all the plays I've made including the units wagered.
My LOAP record is based on a three time progression. I'm fading a streak of any kind after it hits 5 straight. I'll play against the streak until it hits for a maximum of three times, upping the wager 1 unit. Basically Martingaling for 3 progressions. Does that help?

Appreciate the response. Have always been a firm believer of the trend fade. Starting at 5 is an excellent number works very well as you have demonstrated. The number 5 works well in al major sports especially when progressive betting. Good Winnings and Continued Success!!

Thanks for the support, Bentley and thanks for stopping in to share your thoughts. I don't know what to expect from this system. I've always faded streaks in the past, with success in the past, but nothing like this. I hope the early success will continue through to the end.

Money bags, thanks for letting me know how you feel about the threads. I will start running a daily thread instead. As for following this system, I hope you mean to watch how this progresses. So far it looks good, but it's only been 10 days. This seems to be producing a lot of plays, about 6 a day. For some that's not much, for me that's a lot. I usually stick to 1 or 2 a day but I can't here. Tread lightly and don't bet blindly. By the way, Welcome to the Rx! and thanks for making your first post in my thread, I'm honored.
