Does the sports betting year ever end? Sports betting action used to dry up in the summer, but not any more. Could this all eventually lead to burned out gamblers?

Go Figure

I am really surprized by the surge in popularity in NASCAR wagering. Personally I'm not a big auto racing fan but am seemingly in the minority these days.

Good luck all you race car bettors.

love to take breaks in the summer.....IMO one should take a break once in awhile...its does them good, IMO the smart gamblers take breaks to regroup themselves

Ive been on gambling vacation for almost 2 months. I feel fresh and I cant wait to dump hoards of time into football and tear 'em apart. WB's comments couldnt be more right on.

I didnt take a break in '04 and I fell flat on my face in football, and it's usually my best sport.

100% agree

for the most part i take off just about the whole month of july since i suck at MLB

this way come august - and feetball - i am "tanned, rested and ready to go" (see who can figure out who also said this) as opposed to tired

also - for me - july is BY FAR THE BUSIEST month of the ENTIRE year for me - and anyone else who refs basketball. there are leagues and tourneys almost every day and starting next weekend - and thru the end of july - there are a MILLION tourneys each weekend and a TON of games to ref and a TON of $$$$$$$$$$ to make
